Classic children's author M.B. Goffstein has added a couple of new sections to her site since the last time I checked it here. One such new section is called Open Books, with sample double-page spreads from many of her long-ago yet ever-fresh publications. Several of the books themselves are already in the collection of my granddaughter, Mabel Watson Payne (some of them inherited from my daughter, who read them as a child thirty years ago, and others obtained by me more recently on the out-of-print market).
