Decided to take along the guest-umbrella from my hotel room this morning before venturing across the park. Cool weather arrived overnight and overcast skies. Many people took along their umbrellas today (as these pictures show) but in fact the rain only threatened and never fell.
And overnight with the cooler weather Central Park had castg off its summer mode and taken on its autumn mode.
